Good working NP231 transfer case fits 97-02 Jeep TJ Wrangler with 4.0 six cylinder engine and manual or automatic transmission.
Also fits 97-02 TJ Wrangler with 4 cylinder and automatic.
This can technically also fit 03-06 Jeep with 4.0 but they would have had a balance weight that this does not have. Ive not noticed a difference when swapping these for the 03-06 version.
Will not fit 4 cylinder TJ with a manual transmission.
This is a 23 spline transfer case.
Little grubby but very functional case.
I have a few in similar condition to what is pictured. All are good functional cases.
They will arrive drained of oil so you must refill them.
Some may need front studs replaced which is pretty simple .
